The Continental Sport Coat - Herringbone Tweed

Before Rodeo Ben was dressing cowboys, he was a tailor in Philadelphia. That order matters. Everything he built for the West came out of a real coat-making tradition — canvas, chest pieces, hand-set sleeves — and that's why his suits held their shape under stage lights while everyone else's collapsed.

This is a coat first. Half-canvas construction through the chest and lapel, so it molds to you over time instead of hanging flat off a fused shell. Wide notch lapel with a deep, low roll to a single button — a long lean line that reads more 1940s bandstand than modern business.

Then the Western vocabulary, cut into the structure rather than stitched on top of it. A pointed yoke seam runs from the shoulder through the chest on both sides, shaping the coat as it goes. Pocket flaps are cut with a shaped Western scallop and a functional buttonhole beneath. Four-button cuffs. Clean through the waist, with real suppression — this is a tailored coat, not a blazer with a yoke drawn on it.

Herringbone tweed in warm earth. Wear it over an oxford and denim, or over a snap shirt with a bolo. It was always meant to do both.
