The Continental Sport Coat - Plaid

Glen plaid in tan and brown with a russet overcheck. Half-canvas construction through the chest and lapel, so the pattern sits on a shaped chest instead of lying flat. Wide notch lapel, single button, deep roll — the same long line that made his stage coats photograph the way they did.

The Western structure is cut in, not added. Pointed yoke seaming through the shoulder and chest. Shaped Western pocket flaps with functional welts beneath. Four-button cuffs. Real waist suppression.

This is the coat you wear when the tweed is too quiet. Over a white oxford it's dry and correct. Over a snap shirt with a bolo it's something else entirely.
