Rodeo Ben built his name in Philadelphia, not Fort Worth. He was an East Coast tailor cutting clothes for men who rode for a living — and that tension is what made his work different from everything coming out of the West.
This shirt is that idea, distilled. A proper university-stripe oxford: button-down collar, box-pleat cloth, the kind of shirt that's been worn under a blazer since the 1920s. Then the shoulders tell you where it actually comes from. A pointed Western yoke, front and back. A smile pocket cut with a tailor's curve. A long tailored body built to stay tucked when you're moving.
Buttons, not snaps. That's deliberate. Ben cut plenty of both, and the button front is the older, quieter register — the shirt he'd have made for a man who wanted the yoke to be the only thing announcing itself.
Wear it with denim and boots or under a gabardine sport coat. It does not care which.
